FEAST OF CHRIST THE KING

22nd NOVEMBER 2015

Our Team Patronal Festival which is the 'FEAST OF CHRIST THE KING' is being held this year at St Matthew's in Dinnington at 10.30am.  There will be NO morning services at St Columba's that day but we would love it if you could join us at St Matthew's.

We will however, be hosting the Team Confirmation service on the same day at St Columba's at 4pm.  You are also welcome to join us to celebrate with those people who will be taking their first Holy Communion following their confirmation and refreshments will be served afterwards which we would love you to stay and enjoy.

REMEMBRANCE DAY 8th NOVEMBER

Our Remembrance day service will be held at 10am and St John's congregation will also be joining us for this service.  Various uniformed organisations also join us for this service and we would love it if you could join us too.  This is always a very special and poignant service and a very special way to remember those who sacrificed themselves for us to enjoy the peace we have today.

Those who are able, are invited to walk to the Seaton Burn War Memorial to continue the remembrance service.  For those who would prefer, or are unable to walk that far, then the Revd Joan Ross from St John's will lead the traditional service of Remembrance in Church.  Refreshments will be served in our Hall after the service.

Please join us for this special service.

 AUTUMN FAIR
Our Autumn fair takes place on Saturday 28th November between 10.30am and 2.30pm.  We'll be having a cake stall, tombola, raffle and various other stalls and would love to see you there.

There'll be face painting for the little ones (or big ones if you fancy) and we're hoping that Santa will visit us on the day too.
Tea, coffee and snacks will be available so they'll be something for everyone.  Why not pop along and visit us?  You'll be made most welcome.
Hope we see you there.

We’re not just a church, we’re a community!
